The Cruel Jenner Joke

Submitted by Oxnardian

Governor Newsom faces a recall election in California. He faces no threat. There is no challenger to his throne as the California machine is behind him. The GOP has no shot at unseating him. This is not 2003. The GOP has decided to get behind trans Olympic gold medalist Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner. This is why the GOP cannot have nice things.

Jenner announced a potential run with a quick website created for campaign donations. The Jenner cabal should have the money for an exploratory mission, but chose to launch a fundraising portal before even discussing policy ideas or basic positions. The family is likely filming all of this for the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Jenner is a Republican and trans, get with the times. The ultimate embarrassment was seeing Sean Hannity interview Jenner about this run and the problems facing California.

The GOP has no chance but misses a golden opportunity to build on 2020 trends. David Cole is clear that the radleft white-black alliance is on shaky ground with the emergence of Hispanic voting power. The opportunity at hand is to push this voter bloc that shifted right with a candidate that appeals to them. This would involve an element of flashy marketing like using a trans candidate but pushing a right wing Hispanic candidate who will not just be a “dems are real transphobes” stunt.

A problem with the GOP in California is it has no statewide figures with high visibility. This is the problem of being a one party state swamped by immigration waves for fifty years. I live in SoCal for the time being and have voted for Republicans because my Congressman was able to contribute to the GOP House caucus. There was no other reason to vote except for the stray referendum initiative. My Congressman has no shot at a statewide office. Neither does a recall challenger. Twenty point margins are nigh impossible to flip. Scott Brown did it in Massachusetts in ‘10, but lightning rarely strikes twice.

A candidate to build upon the 2020 Hispanic shift would be a second or third generation businessman. The issues to push would be the problems of woke pro-criminal policies of our cities, lockdown mania and the onerous regulations and taxation of our daily life. If he spoke about the destruction the homeless have done to public spaces, which I have witnessed in very quick time, he might win the shy Centrist vote. Jenner may speak of private jet owners exiting the state but this is decades after many of my peers escaped for the rest of the West. California lost population for the first time ever but under the numbers since 1990, we have been net exporters of citizens in internal migration data.

A businessman who knows the middle class squeeze has hit higher and higher on the income spectrum would appeal to many voters hesitant to support a Republican in my state. Pro-remote work policies would please bedroom community voters who commute 1.5-2 hours one way. This candidate would not win, but issues currently clouded by left wing discourse dominance would be forced into open debate.

This candidate is out there. Failure to find him is an indictment not just of the California GOP but of the national governors’ committee and populist pundits in the Beltway. From the moment ‘20 returns came in & the Newsom recall petition began, this should have been the search. Not everything must be laid at the base’s feet.

This is why Jenner’s announcement is a clown side show performance offering nothing to anyone except the Jenner family. It does not push any issue. It plays on celebrity appeal for a celebrity many recoil from on sight. Whether a Republican or Democrat voter, it makes a mockery of the concerns of a majority of voters who are tired of no prosecution of thieves and annual layering on of new taxes and red tape. A new, Republican governor would be limited in power due to systemic constraints, but would give air to the problems so many Californians endure with nary a mention.

Governor Caitlyn Jenner (R) will make the Technotainment Industrial Complex so much money that President Harris (D) will have to appoint an Amish woman vice president to compete for ratings.

The last thing the GOP needs is more advice on how to appeal to another group besides the White people they despise and ignore.
“Muh based Hispanics” are not going to save Whitey or the GOP. White people need a White party to advance White interests, period. The GOP is going to die soon. Let it burn.

Cross-racial alliances in multiracial democracies have a sad history. Let’s be real – no matter how uncomfortable it makes some people or how many One Weird Trick horseshoe-alliance hot takes are lost along the way.
